Join the lab

We welcome inquiries from students and postdocs interested in the effects of global change on freshwater ecosystems. Opportunities exist to work on field-based and modeling projects.

Undergraduates

We often have opportunities for undergraduate students to join our research group to contribute to an ongoing research project. We also encourage strong undergraduate students to inquire about developing your own research project as a senior thesis. Interested students should send a brief email with research interests, background and CV to neeson@ou.edu

Graduate students & post-docs

We welcome inquiries from prospective graduate students and post-docs from many academic backgrounds (ecology, geography, statistics, computer science, etc.), but students must have a strong interest in ecology, conservation, or coupled human-natural systems. Many of our research projects are highly collaborative, so students should be group-oriented scientists who are comfortable working in an interdisciplinary team. Grad students in our group work towards an MS or PhD in Geography.

If you are interested in joining the lab, please send me an email with a brief description of your research interests and CV to neeson@ou.edu.
